Charlie Tremendous Jones
During a recent television interview that I was conducting with Mark Victor Hansen, Mark mentioned Charlie “Tremendous” Jones. That reminiscence prompted me to see what YouTube might have and I found several video clips of this wonderful speaker and author of personal development material.
Here’s one you might enjoy.
Charlie was one of life’s great lights; full of enthusiasm, quick to encourage others, a man of great courage and wisdom. He died a year ago from cancer yet remains to this day an example of letting life’s challenges mold rather than break us.
Best wishes.

Mr. Jones is so correct about making wrong decisions but making them yours means you hold no one else reliable. When you do that you give room for the X Factor to be taken into the equation. Because the X Factor is about the saying that goes ” Usually the things that go wrong will go wrong.” But when they are your own decisions you are pretty much saying Life will not dictated to you whether your right or wrong but at least you give yourself room to figure out the right thing to do.

I had the privilege of having personally met Charlie “Tremendous” Jones. It was the summer of 2004 in Anaheim, California where I attended “The Jim Rohn 2004 Weekend Leadership Event”.
What an amazing weekend where I got to listen to powerful and timeless words of wisdom from Denis Waitley, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, and Charlie “Tremendous” Jones.
Charlie had us all laughing and having a great time! How he loved books! I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Charlie and he was so genuine, so sincere, and so full of life.
I remember, women in the group would (innocently) would try to hug him out of gratitude and Charlie (gently) pointed out that the only woman he would hug was his wife. That left a powerful impression on people. What an example of husband of integrity who truly honored his wife and the marriage relationship.
I was very saddened to hear of his passing. The world became a little darker. He made a good impact on the world. He left his mark and thankfully, he left much behind for us through his recorded words of wisdom!
