I had the privilege of having personally met Charlie "Tremendous" Jones. It was the summer of 2004 in Anaheim, California where I attended "The Jim Rohn 2004 Weekend Leadership Event".

What an amazing weekend where I got to listen to powerful and timeless words of wisdom from Denis Waitley, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, and Charlie "Tremendous" Jones.

Charlie had us all laughing and having a great time! How he loved books! I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Charlie and he was so genuine, so sincere, and so full of life.

I remember, women in the group would (innocently) would try to hug him out of gratitude and Charlie (gently) pointed out that the only woman he would hug was his wife. That left a powerful impression on people. What an example of husband of integrity who truly honored his wife and the marriage relationship.

I was very saddened to hear of his passing. The world became a little darker. He made a good impact on the world. He left his mark and thankfully, he left much behind for us through his recorded words of wisdom!

Mr. Jones is so correct about making wrong decisions but making them yours means you hold no one else reliable. When you do that you give room for the X Factor to be taken into the equation. Because the X Factor is about the saying that goes " Usually the things that go wrong will go wrong." But when they are your own decisions you are pretty much saying Life will not dictated to you whether your right or wrong but at least you give yourself room to figure out the right thing to do.

Thank you Steve.
Sound advice. I just ordered a couple of your DVD'S.
It does sound obvious, if you want to succeed learn from those that have. We are not born equally but we have the same basic desires
and goals.
Cheers and thank you for bringing Max to Oz

Started the Master Strategies for Super Acheivers course about two weeks ago and just finished veiwing session 7. My biggest obstacle is focus, my biggest weakness is marketing...oh yes, I'm an Otter's otter (39) Lion (31). My strength, creativity and communication. I thrive on creative things and want to do them all...trying to apply the strategies to get focused on career goals as I love inspiring and helping people acheive their goals. God is first in my life, I utilize some of my talent volunteering with the Career Ministry at my chuch helping prepare people for job interviews, I've created exercises to help them think quickly on their feet. Their success is my joy.

At present I'm in a "I have to pay my bills" job, admin support...have to be a beaver and that drives the otter in me crazy.

Session 6 "Shooting for the Moon" made me realize how much I acheived when I was younger, because I shot for the moon, I just went for it with a ton of passion and nothing was going to stop me. The passion has always been there...but life just made the moon harder to get to. It only became harder because it became ordinary. Thanks for opening my eyes to that, it put things back in perspective. Not only will I be shooting for the moon but I'll be shouting at it too.
